Couple of slight updates

Ok. So. Slight change to the previously posted plan. The Morningstar MIDI controller is out of stock everywhere I’ve looked, and I’ve used a lot of RJM’s products in the past—and they’re all phenomenal—so I think I’m going to go with the Mastermind LT controller.

That limits me to four foot-switches, or seven if I convert the function and bank buttons from default. I decided instead to make four presets. These cover literally everything I could possibly want or need, and what I might do is put my modulation and weirder effects’ bypasses in those top foot-switches.

Here’s what I’m working with. When you first start up the Archetype: Cory Wong app, go to the preset “Jerrrry” in Wong’s Session Sounds folder.

1. LEAD - this is the Tuber from “Jerrrry” with my own go-to dual delay settings.

2. RHYTHM - this is the Big Rig drive (which is like a Morning Glory) from “Jerrrry” and a little room reverb, also from “Jerrrry.” The effects in the “Jerrrry” preset are dope.

I feel like I’m saying “Jerrrry” a lot.

3. AMBIENT - this has dual delay and reverb that kind of mimic Andy Timmon’s “Halo” effect and comes quite close to the effect I used to get with my DD-5 going into my Memory Man.

4. CLEAN - this has Wong’s compressor on it and his “Jerrrry” reverb.

My settings are basically all the “Jerrrry” preset, with the presence knob turned off, and my own Boogie IR loaded in. The effects are dope. I love everything about playing through this app!
