Welcome to my LIFE blog

Life is awesome. I’ve had to grow to believe that, over time, as a life-long sufferer from Major Depressive Disorder going all the way back to my early childhood. I’ve grown to believe that despite the many trials I’ve faced, and the bouts where it feels like my brain is working against life, life is just awesome. On the LIFE blog, here, I’m going to write about my life and all of the things that interest me. I’m going to tell funny stories—I have a ton of them—and I’m going to let you in on what I’m thinking about, where my head is at. I’m curious about everything, I’m into all of it as a student of life, and I want to bring you with me!

Some days I’ll talk about my careers at Apple and at Warner Brothers. Some days I’ll talk about touring North America. Some days I’ll talk about poetry, or Jesus, or the luminists, or books about the old American west, or, I don’t know. Just life! This will also be a space for reviews about guitar equipment and musings about recording and making music, all that stuff. This is LIFE.

Note: Everything before this is old blog content I moved over from the old website. I haven’t gone through it in years, and some of it… who knows if I still stand by things I wrote so long ago. The faith-life is ever-evolving in continual conversation with the Lord, through life. I feel like I’ve just said ‘life’ a whole lot.
