Welcome back

I took the year 2022 to not publish anything I had written. It was an interesting experiment in shutting up for once. Who wants my perspective anyway? I’m a hypocrite and a fool. I spent the last part of 2021 in the hospital and I spent a couple of days in 2022 in the county jail. It was a shameful, shameful thing. I’ll be writing about all of it soon.

So yeah, I spent all of 2022 with my mouth shut. But now that it’s 2023, I’m giving myself permission to speak again. I also went back through the old blog and re-published many old posts that I had set to Draft, out of fear or embarrassment or whatever.

If you search yourself, I guarantee you’ll find inconsistencies and little embarrassments, or, at least, you’ll note how much you’ve changed in the last decade. I’ve been blogging for one decade. Since 2012. Needless to say, my views on a great many things have changed. Also, I’ve been humbled, so my capacity to hold any view with certainty or confidence has also changed. This is part of growing up.
